Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Contract/Commercial Law, International Development, Health or related social science field.
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in at the national and international levels, in supply, logistics, procurement, contracting, administration and/or other directly-related technical fields is required.
  • Understanding of development and humanitarian work.
  • Skills: Financial Monitoring, supply chain processes, negotiation, partnership management, change management, resource management.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required.


Responsibilities

Supply Chain Service Delivery & Emergency Response

  • Plan, manage and monitor end‑to‑end supply chain operations to ensure timely, ethical and cost‑effective delivery of supplies and services.
  • Strengthen emergency preparedness and response capacity in line with UNICEF’s humanitarian commitments.

Collaboration with Programme & Implementing Partners

  • Work closely with programme sections, donors and implementing partners to design, plan and deliver supply components of programmes.
  • Support partnerships, PCAs and HACT processes to ensure accountability and results for children.

Technical & Advisory Support to Government / National Systems

  • Provide technical advice and support to strengthen national supply chains and systems.
  • Contribute to capacity development, supply chain reform and sustainable solutions that improve access to essential supplies for children.

Innovation, Products & Markets

  • Promote innovation in supply chain management by supporting new products, services and approaches.
  • Contribute to market shaping and local market development to improve efficiency, access and value for money.
