Supervise and coordinate hospital laundry operations to guarantee continuous, hygienic, and timely availability of clean linen across all hospital departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee operational workflow and daily activities in the hospital laundry unit.
Align laundry workflows with hospital sanitary and clinical quality standards.
Participate in the procurement, specification, and requisitions of laundry detergents and consumables.
Ensure seamless supply and availability of clean hospital linen at all times.
Train and guide laundry staff on modern hospital laundry procedures and infection prevention standards.
Maintain accurate records and consumption registers for laundry inventory and consumables.
Enforce discipline, occupational health, and safety standards among laundry staff.

Person/Job Specifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any humanities, social sciences, or administration discipline.
Certificate in laundry operations, institutional housekeeping, or infection prevention and control practices.

Experience:

Experience working in a healthcare/hospital setting is an added advantage.
