Requirements
1. A first-class Bachelor's degree from Uganda Christian University.
2. Should have graduated not more than five years ago.
3. Working experience in a busy office environment performing similar tasks will be an added advantage.
4. Must have good computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power point and internet)
5. Experience in taking minutes will be an added advantage
6. Must have good interpersonal skills especially when dealing with students, staff and visitors
7. Must be a person of high integrity with an excellent work ethic
8. Must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
Duties and responsibilities
1. Organizing and maintaining files and records
2. Preparing and organizing for Departmental meetings
3. Receiving, entering, processing and managing exams and results of students.
4. Assist in organizing the Dean's diary including internal and external commitments
5. Taking minutes at Departmental meetings as required
6. Take care of all external and internal office telephone, emails and other correspondences
7. Oversee and carry out various day to day administrative functions
8. Should be part of the planning and budgeting process for the unit.
9. Maintain correspondence between the SRPGS, Faculties and other Departments within the University
10. Raise and prepare the Department’s request for funds
11. Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Dean of the SRPGS
