Required Qualifications and Work Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledgeable about Small and Medium Enterprise Loans.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all staff under your supervision on a daily/weekly/monthly basis attain their assigned disbursement and collections targets.
  • Analyse disbursement and collections reports and drive appropriate intervention for each individual under your supervision.
  • To lead the branch team to ensure that all approved processes (loan origination, appraisal, approval and monitoring) are adhered to.
  • To conduct field visits to clients, guarantors and relevant stakeholders in the branch area of coverage.
  • To chair the loan committee, sit in the disbursement meeting and ensure all the loan documentation is in the file and the necessary lending processes are adhered to.
  • To recruit, onboard, retain, train and coach new and existing staff at the branch on all processes to grow and maintain a good quality portfolio.
  • Performance management; inform/engage, remediation plan and action, documentation and staff appraisal to ensure continuous performance improvement for all branch staff.
