Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce with specialization in Logistics and Stores Management, or any other related field from a recognized institution.
Post Graduate Diploma in same field is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2-3 years' relevant experience in stores, inventory, warehouse, or logistics management, preferably in a public sector or reputable organization.
Responsibilities
Receive and verify stock by inspecting all deliveries against delivery notes, LPOs, and specifications to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with UNCST procurement guidelines.
Process goods receipt by preparing and issuing Goods Received Notes for all accepted items and promptly updating inventory records.
Maintain inventory records by accurately updating stock cards and the electronic inventory management system to ensure real-time and reliable stock data.
Manage stores issuance by issuing and registering stores items to staff in accordance with UNCST distribution procedures and retrieval systems, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
Conduct stock control by carrying out regular stock reconciliations and leading the annual physical stocktaking to ensure accuracy and accountability of inventory.
Monitor stock levels by tracking usage trends and maintaining optimal stock levels through timely requisitions and replenishment of store items.
