Lecturer - Department of Economic Theory and Analysis

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Teach, examine and grade students;

2. Supervise research for students;

3. Mentor junior staff;

4. Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

i. PhD, Economics or Statistics or Mathematics;

ii. Masters in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics;

iii. An honors Bachelor of Economics or BSc Economics or Mathematics or Statistics;

iv. Knowledge and ability to teach data analysis using Stata and applied Stata programming;

v. Knowledge and ability to teach data analysis using R and EViews
