Sewerage Attendant - Estate and Works

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Repair septic tanks, sewer lines or drains;
   
2. Patch walls and partitions of tank;
   
3. Replace damaged drain tile and repairs in underground piping;
   
4. Withdraws cable to deposit accumulated residue removed from pipe in containers for disposal;
   
5. Observes residue for evidence of mud, indicating broken sewer line and repairs accordingly;
   
6. Dig out ruptured line and shallow sewers;
   
7. Remove and replace broken tile section or pipe, using caulking compound and cement to form watertight joint;
   
8. Replace or directs replacement of soil materials;
   
9. Perform any other related duties as assigned by Supervisor
   

Required Qualifications

Certificate in Plumbing

Skills/Competences

1. Excellent people skills;

3. Good communication skills and a positive attitude;

4. Customer service skills.
