  • Successful candidates must have 10 or more years of relevant experience and recognized expertise in large international onshore/offshore oil and gas projects with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • The working environment is multicultural and demands considerable experience in the project process working with International Clients and Contractors.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent spoken and written English

• Respond to the requirements of the project under the direction of the Lead Planning Engineer

• Prepare programmes in accordance with the strategic requirements of the project

• Incorporate interface requirements between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Fabrication, Installation, Commissioning as appropriate into project programmes

• Attend regular progress meetings

• Collect and/or update information, checking it’s accuracy where necessary and incorporating it into programmes. To analyse feedback from Lead Engineers and update programmes, highlighting adverse situations and seeking possible solutions.

• Prepare planning information for reports

• Incorporate changes to the scope of work into programmes, histograms and progress curves

• Establish effective working relationships with appropriate project staff to assist in provision of timely and accurate programme, interface and update information

• Liaise with Cost Engineer

• Ensure that the National Content Plan is followed by all parties (McDermott and Subcontractors)

• Managing the training and advancement of local employees and ensuring that knowledge of the company’s policies and procedures are included
