Junior Estimating Assistant – Low Voltage / Electrical Systems

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior Estimating Assistant to support the estimating team on low-voltage (electrical systems) construction projects. This is a hands-on, junior-level role focused on quantity take-offs, plan review, and bid support.

This position is ideal for junior professionals or recent graduates with a technical or electrical background who are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with construction drawings.

No design work is involved. The role focuses on accurate counting, organizing, and reviewing scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings and specifications
  
• Review plan sets and identify drawings related to low-voltage systems (data, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, fiber)
  
• Use Bluebeam to mark, count, and document take-offs
  
• Enter and maintain estimating data in Google Sheets
  
• Assist with bid preparation, organizing scope and quantities
  
• Track bid items, deadlines, and missing information
  
• Organize project files, drawings, and supporting documents
  
• Communicate with internal team members as needed
