Job Purpose

  • The Office Security/Guard will be responsible for ensuring the security of lives and properties within the office premises.

Job Duties and Duties

  • Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry
  • Control traffic by directing drivers
  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities
  • Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
  • Adhere to all company service and operating standards
  • Protect the NRCS assets from theft, assault, fire and other safety hazards
  • Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations

Duties Applicable to all Staff:

  • Actively work towards the achievement of the NRCS goals
  • Abide by and work in accordance with the Red Cross Fundamental Principles and NRCS Statutes
  • Show capacity to assist other members of staff and management, aptitude for maintaining cooperation and team spirit necessary to achieve the objectives of the National Society
  • Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Line Manager
