Requirements

• A minimum of a Master's level in biomedical-related studies with a bachelor's degree in laboratory science or a related field.

• Five (5) years of working genomicamolecular microbiology experience

• Experience and knowledge of genomics, population genetics, data science, and computational biology (hands-on experience with basic bioinformatics tools software)

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

• Participate and/or oversee core laboratory operations including but not limited to moleculer and genomic techniques, and/or computational analysis and reporting.

• Participate in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of initiatives, strategies, and business plans for accomplishing objectives relevant to genomics and molecular testing.

• Participate in efforts to achieve and maintain appropriate accreditation and

• licensure for the clinical laboratory for current and future tests.

• Develop, validate, implement, and report on new and existing molecular genomics assays.

• Identifying and addressing technical and validation gaps in laboratory methods, standard operating procedures (SOP) and/or active participation in QA/QC Quality Improvement Plan

• Ensure compliance of pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes with the integrated laboratory quality management systems.
