Requirements for Appointment:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field;
  • Professional certification such as CEH, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable;
  • At least Three (3) years of relevant experience in IT security; and
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks, risk assessment, and incident response.

Responsibilities
  • Protect the eCampus digital infrastructure and online learning systems against cyber threats;
  • Implement security protocols, firewalls, and data encryption mechanisms;
  • Conduct regular system audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments;
  • Respond to and resolve security breaches in a timely manner;
  • Train staff and students on cyber security best practices; and
  • Ensure compliance with University and national ICT security policies.
