Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Planning, organizing, and controlling construction projects from start to finish.
- Team Leadership: Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and other staff.
- Safety Management: Ensuring a safe work environment by implementing and enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
- Quality Control: Monitoring work progress and ensuring that it meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
- Scheduling: Developing and managing construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation and use of resources, including materials and equipment.
- Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance and support to construction workers, including training on safety procedures and best practices.
- Budget Management: Monitoring project costs and ensuring adherence to the allocated budget.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field
- Construction Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
