Role Overview

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Technical Photographers to join a global image collection project on a freelance consultancy basis.

This role combines technical photography expertise with structured image collection. Consultants will capture high-quality RAW images across a variety of environments while adhering to strict quality and technical requirements.

Unlike traditional photography assignments, this project emphasizes consistency, precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow image collection guidelines at scale.

Photographers will be expected to actively move across their locality, visiting different environments and locations to collect diverse image sets that meet project requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for photographers who are comfortable working independently, managing large volumes of image submissions, and delivering technically accurate photography under defined quality standards.

Image Collection

• Capture high-quality photographs across a variety of subjects, locations, and environments.
  
• Produce visually compelling images with strong composition and technical quality.
  
• Collect images that meet project-specific guidelines and quality standards.
  

Field-Based Photography

• Travel within your city, town, or surrounding locality to identify and photograph diverse environments.
  
• Capture images across residential, commercial, urban, natural, and public spaces as required.
  
• Work independently to plan routes and identify suitable locations for image collection.
  

Precision Photography

• Capture consistent image sets according to project instructions.
  
• Reproduce scenes accurately when required while maintaining framing, perspective, focus, and lighting consistency.
  

Technical Compliance

• Deliver all images in native RAW format.
  
• Ensure complete EXIF metadata is retained.
  
• Follow image naming, labeling, and submission requirements.
  
• Adhere strictly to project quality guidelines.
  

File Management

• Organize, label, and upload image files according to project instructions.
  
• Maintain secure handling of all project assets.
  
• Meet submission deadlines and production targets.
  

RequirementsEssential Qualifications

• Proven photography experience with a strong portfolio.
  
• Ownership of a DSLR or Mirrorless camera.
  
• Camera body manufactured in 2014 or later.
  
• Ability to shoot in RAW format.
  

• Strong understanding of:

  • Natural lighting
    
• Ability to use manual or semi-manual camera settings.
  
• Reliable internet connection for transferring large image files.

Mobility & Field Readiness

• Comfortable traveling within your locality to capture images from diverse locations.
  
• Able to spend extended periods conducting field-based photography.
  
• Comfortable working independently in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  
• Access to reliable transportation is an advantage.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with image collection or data collection projects.
  
• Experience delivering large volumes of RAW images.
  
• Familiarity with metadata and file management workflows.
  
• Architectural, documentary, street, landscape, or commercial photography experience.

Compensation Model

This is a freelance consultancy engagement.

Compensation is based on the number of images that successfully pass quality review and meet all technical and project requirements.

Only accepted images will be eligible for payment.

Consultants may submit as many qualifying images as they can capture and deliver within the project timelines. Higher productivity combined with consistent quality may result in greater earning potential.

Detailed payment rates and project guidelines will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
