HR, FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION ASSOCIATE
Brief Description
The position of HR, Finance & Administration Associate at Kumbatia Seafood Limited is a hands-on role responsible for day-to-day finance operations and support to HR and administrative processes. In this role, you will manage accounts receivable and payable, process payroll, maintain financial records, and keep Kumbatia's HR documentation and digital filing systems accurate and up to date.
Main Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
Manage Accounts Payable (A/P), including supplier invoices and payment schedules.
Support and manage monthly payroll processing and related statutory requirements.
Handle general bookkeeping, including transaction posting, reconciliations and
maintenance of financial records.Support HR and administrative processes, including employee records and documentation.
Manage and organize the company's Google Drive and digital filing systems, ensuring
documents are properly structured, accessible, and up to date.Support general finance, HR, and administrative operations as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Human Resource
Management.CPA (K) at Intermediate level or above via KASNEB, or an equivalent qualification
(ACCA/CIMA); full qualification is an advantage.1–3 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role.
Practical experience with quickbooks & Zoho Books is preferred.
Working knowledge of Kenya's statutory payroll requirements: PAYE (via KRA iTax), NSSF, SHIF, the Affordable Housing Levy, and NITA.
Comfortable administering Google Drive/Workspace and structured digital filing systems.
HR coursework or IHRM membership is an added advantage.
