Description
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Diploma in Law, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited institution
- At least two years of relevant experience Experience preferably in a busy manufacturing environment
- Advise management on legal and compliance Key Skills matters
- Experience in reviewing and preparing legal documents, contracts and agreements
- Exceptional problem solving skills with practical solution oriented approach
- Proficiency in legal research and analysis of legal issues
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications and other relevant software
Responsibilities
- Maintain company records and critical documents
- Ensure regulatory compliance and permit renewals
- Update and review internal policies
- Manage contracts (review, negotiate, renew, file)
- Protect intellectual property and handle trademark issues
- Support dispute resolution and legal proceedings
- Liaise with external lawyers and provide legal documentation
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations
