Description
The Telesales Representative drives sales and delivers exceptional customer service. You will proactively make outbound calls and manage inbound calls to convert prospects into customers and foster strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. The role will focus on achieving sales targets and providing a customer-centric approach to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Sales, or related area. (A high school certificate (KCSE) may be acceptable if accompanied by strong communication skills and sales aptitude.)
  • 1-3 years of experience in telesales, call centre, telemarketing, or customer Key Skills & Competencies Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Swahili is often an added advantage).
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to close sales and meet targets. Effective telephone etiquette and active listening.

Key Competencies:

  • Contact prospective and existing customers to promote products and services.
  • Follow up on sales leads and convert them into actual sales.
  • Maintain a database of customer information, purchase history, and preferences.
  • Handle customer queries and provide product information accurately.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain call quality and professionalism at all times.
  • Record all customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Submit daily call reports, sales updates, and lead status to the supervisor.
