Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, social sciences, business administration, or its equivalent from a recognized university.
At least 5-8 years experience in Human Resource Management / Administration in recognised organizations.
Sound knowledge of Labor Laws and employment, Act 2007.
An active member of a relevant professional body with a confirmed good standing record.

Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Conducting interviews for the business unit positions and makes referrals to hiring manager and ensures efficient turn-around activity
Guide the hiring managers on writing job profiles and development of job descriptions.
Performance Improvement
Constantly ensure Job descriptions are reviewed and updated.
Identifying trends and recommending solutions to improve employee performance, retention, and development.
Learning and Development
Ensure Onboarding Training to all new employees- Conduct orientation sessions for new employees to explain personnel policies,compensation and benefits programs.
Maintain documentation of all learning activities ensuring the knowledge base is accessible to all.
Employee Relations
Communicate the disciplinary process effectively including Warnings, appeals etc
Handle staff grievances and disciplinary action processes in accordance with Vivo’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with the employment law and full confidentiality.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain good working relationships with line managers and the Senior Management Team.
Stay abreast of developments in HR trends and share information with the Senior Management Team as needed.
Project Management
Participate in company projects
Creates tools and templates to facilitate departmental effectiveness
Reporting
Submitting weekly/Monthly performance reports as directed by the HR Manager.
Monthly absenteeism report for the specific business unit
