Description
Provide entry-level mechanical engineering support for safe, reliable operation andmaintenance of rotating and static equipment on field assets. Support inspections,preventive maintenance, breakdown response, documentation and small works undersupervision while developing practical field competency.
Qualifications
▪ Bachelor’s degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
▪ 0–2 years’ practical experience; internships, industrial placements or final-year
project work in rotating equipment, plant operations or maintenance advantageous.Technical Skills & Knowledge
▪ Basic understanding of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, motors), static
equipment (vessels, heat exchangers), valves and pipework.
▪ Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques (vibration, thermography, oil
analysis) and mechanical inspection practices.
▪ Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, assembly drawings and basic mechanical
datasheets.
▪ Awareness of mechanical integrity, bolting, alignment, bearings, lubrication and seal
systems.
▪ Knowledge or willingness to learn CMMS, basic engineering calculations and MS
