Description
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Officer responsible for ensuring the timely sourcing and availability of quality products and services while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with procurement policies. The role involves supplier sourcing, inventory planning, import coordination, and procurement process management to support operational efficiency, working in close conjunction with the local team as well as regional and international Dümmen Orange procurement teams.
Responsibilities
Source and procure quality products and services in a timely manner.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers.
Plan, coordinate, and manage import processes including documentation and compliance with import regulations.
Monitor stock levels and maintain appropriate reorder levels to avoid stock outs.
Compare and analyze products and services to ensure best value procurement.
Enforce procurement policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Coordinate delivery and collection of goods in collaboration with stores and logistics departments.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on order status and delivery timelines.
Prepare and submit procurement reports including procurement status, RFQs, and import schedules.
Track inventory days and analyze stock before purchase decisions.
Negotiate favorable supplier agreements and service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure cost efficiency and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or related field.
Professional membership with KISM or CIPS is required.
4–8 years of experience in procurement, supplier sourcing, tendering, inventory management, or contract negotiation.
Strong knowledge of import regulations, documentation, and international trade terms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
