Location : Embu, Machakos and Kisumu
Expected outcome(s) of the project:
The Project trainee responsibilities will include meeting with farmers in the assigned
region/area and providing daily reports, including fieldwork planning. During the meetings,
the intern will be expected to follow all established ethical and survey protocols and to
maintain excellent data quality.

Roles and Responsibilities : -
● Performing baseline surveys of the area and farmers suitable for the
project.
● Training stakeholders involved in the project and coordinating with
field supervisors
● Report to the Project Supervisor and other higher-end on a regular
basis.
● Conduct necessary data analysis to prepare daily monitoring reports
● Completing any necessary fieldwork needed to assure accuracy of
the surveys in a timely manner
Requirements
● Organisation and research skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
● Pursuing B.Sc. in Agriculture/Forestry or a related field.
● Willing to work on the field for 5-6 days per week
● Willing to relocate if needed but preference will be given to candidates in the above
mentioned locations
● A valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation will be preferable
