Description
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field
- 5–7+ years of experience in applied statistics or business analysis
- Ability to analyze and understand business data requirements and translate them to technical requirements
- Strong expertise in analytical tools and methods (Power BI, Python, R, Excel)
- Proven experience in statistical modeling, forecasting, and segmentation
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills
- Strong understanding of data quality, metadata, and governance concepts
- Fluent English and French (C1/C2)
- Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ideally experience in non-profit contexts, including impact measurement, donor reporting
Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in analytical tools and methods (Power BI, Python, R, Excel)
- Proven experience in statistical modeling, forecasting, and segmentation
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills
- Strong understanding of data quality, metadata, and governance concepts
Responsibilities
- Perform statistical analyses (e.g. regression, clustering, forecasting, hypothesis testing) using tools such as Power BI, Python, or R with openness to large-language methods
- Translate analytical objectives into clear data requirements and collaborate with data engineers to access suitable datasets
- Develop analytical frameworks, KPIs, and indicators to evaluate organizational and program performance
- Interpret and clearly communicate findings through reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency in all analytical outputs
- Advise on analytical use cases and data structures within the Global Data Hub
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to design advanced Power BI reports, including predictive and statistical elements
- Collect, analyze, and document system and data requirements of English/French speaking Member Associations
- Support and mentor colleagues in data literacy and interpretation of analytical results
- Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and ethical data usage standards
- Provide support and consulting to French- and English-speaking Member Associations to enable them to succeed in their data project and allow them get the most out of Global Data Hub
