Description
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering environment focused on building high-quality, scalable software solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality engineering, automation, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in test automation for web, API, and backend systems
Proficiency in at least one automation tool or language such as:
- Selenium, Playwright, Cypress
- Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript

- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and work independently
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Execute functional, regression, API, backend, and end-to-end testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support release quality gates
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement shift-left testing practices
- Perform API, database, and system integration validation
- Investigate defects, conduct root cause analysis, and validate fixes
- Support testing across cloud-based and containerized environments
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and automation strategy
- Leverage modern tools, including AI-assisted testing solutions, to enhance quality processes
