Description
Qualifications Required:
- Education: A recent graduate (within the last 6 months) with a Bachelors in M&E , Data/ Statistics or related field
- Language: Fluency in oral and written English and local language.
- Computer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Responsibilities
Data Collection Support
- Assist programme teams gather information from the seven hubs in Wajir and Mandera, including participant feedback and activity progress.
- Join field visits to collect community feedback, activity reports, and monitoring data.
- Enter collected data into monitoring systems and trackers accurately and on time.
- Check and clean data to reduce errors and improve quality before reporting.
Reporting, Documentation, and Knowledge Management
- Assist in preparing monthly briefs, summaries, and verified monitoring data for internal updates, donor reports, and ad hoc requests.
- Organize and maintain records by keeping meeting minutes, action points, programme reports, monitoring forms, and field evidence well‑organized in both digital and physical formats.
- Support knowledge sharing by capturing lessons learned, success stories, and best practices, and contribute to knowledge products that inform decision‑making and collaboration with government and partners.
Community Engagement
- Engage directly with communities to gather perspectives through interviews, discussions, and surveys, and record insights, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Bridge language and cultural gaps to ensure vulnerable groups are represented, build trust, and promote inclusive participation in programme activities.
- Assist in community meetings, awareness sessions, and reporting of concerns to strengthen visibility, accountability, and responsiveness of interventions.
Collaboration
- Support harmonization of reporting formats and contribute to shared evidence frameworks.
- Take part in meetings with government and partners and provide updates on monitoring progress when needed.
