Assistant Farm Manager (6 positions) - JOB REF: VA/5/9/2025

(a) Job Specifications

1. Supervising agricultural activities in the farm;
   

2. Assisting in compiling quarterly reports and implementing Agricultural Plans in the farm;
   

3. Ensuring that the technical operations in the functional areas are carried out effectively;
   

4. Ensuring agronomical practices are adhered to as per standard operating procedures.
   

5. Ensuring farm planning and work schedules are well coordinated and facilitated;
   

6. Participating in the preparation of farm budgets and instituting budgetary control measures;
   

7. Ensuring that there is effective resource mobilization and effective resource allocation to various areas of resource utilization;
   

8. Ensuring good working relationship at the farm level with employees and handling any employees’ relations matters at the farm; and
   

9. Training on matters related to Agricultural practices, planning and management.
   

1. At least a minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in farm environment;
   

2. A Diploma in any of the following fields: General Agriculture, Farm management, Seed Science and Horticulture, from a recognized institution;
   

3. Certificate in computer application skills;
