Key accountabilities/Deliverables/Outcomes

Digital Product Commercialization Strategy

  • Develop commercialization strategies for digital products and services.
  • Define revenue growth, adoption, customer acquisition, and usage targets.
  • Create product positioning and value propositions.
  • Identify market opportunities and growth segments.
  • Align commercialization plans with organizational strategy.

2Go-to-Market (GTM) Management

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing digital products.
  • Coordinate product launches across business functions.
  • Define market segmentation and customer targeting approaches.
  • Manage launch readiness activities.
  • Measure launch effectiveness and adoption rates.

Customer Acquisition & Adoption

  • Drive customer acquisition through digital campaigns and partnerships.
  • Increase digital channel migration and utilization.
  • Identify barriers to customer adoption and implement solutions.
  • Develop customer engagement initiatives.
  • Support onboarding optimization initiatives.

Revenue Growth & Monetization

  • Identify and implement monetization opportunities.
  • Optimize pricing, fees, and commercial models.
  • Increase transaction volumes and product utilization.
  • Develop cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
  • Monitor product profitability and commercial performance.

Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging digital innovations.
  • Benchmark product performance against competitors.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in the digital portfolio.

Performance Monitoring & Analytics

  • Define and monitor product performance metrics.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and usage trends.
  • Track revenue, adoption, engagement, and retention metrics.
  • Generate insights to guide business decisions.
  • Recommend optimization initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Technology, Operations, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Manage external partners, fintechs, and vendors.
  • Present commercialization performance to senior management.
  • Influence strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Role/person specification

Education

  • A degree from a reputable institution

Experience

  • At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in business development, Sales, sales operations, or strategy roles within a digital business environment. MBA appreciated but not required.
  • In-depth understanding of the various mobile banking platforms
  • In-depth understanding of Financial Technology (Fintech).
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of competitor and local market activity
