Data Science Trainer

About the role

• The Data Science Trainer will deliver accessible, practical instruction in data analysis and machine learning. The trainer will help learners develop strong analytical foundations, work with real datasets, communicate findings clearly, and produce portfolio projects that demonstrate workplace-ready skills.
  

Key responsibilities

• Teach Python, SQL, statistics, data cleaning, visualization, and machine learning fundamentals
  
• Lead practical labs and end-to-end projects using real-world datasets
  
• Assess learner work and provide clear technical and career-focused feedback
  
• Maintain relevant course materials, exercises, and assessment rubrics
  

Requirements

• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  
• Practical experience with Python, SQL, pandas, data visualization, and machine learning libraries
  
• Ability to explain statistical and technical concepts clearly to learners
  
• Training, mentoring, or facilitation experience is an advantage
  
• A portfolio of data analysis, visualization, or machine learning projects
