Description
CFK Africa believes that strong, connected teams and well-stewarded partnerships are essential to delivering our mission. The Executive Communications and Partnerships Manager leads internal communications across CFK Africa's programs — ensuring teams are informed, aligned, and connected to organizational priorities and to one another — and manages the organization's partnership function, including a growing database of partners and stakeholders.
Working under the leadership of the CEO/Executive Director, the Executive Communications and Partnerships Manager follows up and stewards partnerships and stakeholder relationships passed down by the CEO/ED, ensuring timely engagement, accurate record-keeping, and continuity as partnerships mature. The role also leads the planning and delivery of CFK Africa's main and special events, working closely with the Communications and Media Manager and the broader YDN Communications team to ensure events are documented through photography, video, and storytelling.
This role is critical to keeping CFK Africa's programs connected to one another, ensuring information flows smoothly across teams, and ensuring the organization's partnerships are well-managed, well-documented, and positioned to grow.
The role carries accountability for internal communications, the partnership database and stakeholder follow-up, event management, cross-program communication, financial stewardship, safeguarding, and demonstrable engagement and impact.
