Head of Education Sector

Key Responsibilities

• Create sector strategy, identify opportunities, and drive growth in deposits, loans, and transactional volumes.
  
• Build relationships with universities, schools, government bodies, and education providers.
  
• Lead client acquisition, retention, and deepen existing relationships.
  
• Collaborate on product development like fee collection, digital payments, and insurance solutions.
  
• Ensure sector lending complies with risk, regulatory, and funding guidelines.
  
• Represent the bank at education forums and build partnerships.
  
• Provide sector expertise, training, and cross-team collaboration.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or related; Master’s preferred.
  
• 8-10 years banking experience, 5+ in institutional or sector-specific banking.
  
• Proven large relationship management, structured lending, and sector financing experience.
  

Core Competencies

• Knowledge of education funding models, credit analysis, transaction banking, and digital solutions.
  
• Understanding of public-sector and donor-funded environments.
