Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Health Records and Information Management or related field.
- MUST be registered with the relevant professional body.
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience working in a busy healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in handling Social Health Authority (SHA)
- Proficiency in health information systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High level of Integrity and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate patient health records (Both manual and electronic systems)
- Ensure proper documentation, filing and retrieval of medical records
- Handle Social Health Authority(SHA) claim processing, verification and reconciliation
- Liaise with clinical and administrative staff to ensure completeness of patient data.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
- Prepare periodic reports on records and SHA claims status
- Assist in audits related to health records and insurance claims.
- Familiarity with ICD 11 (International Classification of Disease)
