Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver competency-based training in Hospitality Management programmes.
  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and training materials.
  • Assess learners and maintain accurate academic records.
  • Mentor and supervise students during industrial attachment and practical training.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Integrate industry trends and technology into teaching.
  • Participate in student recruitment, institutional events, and quality assurance activities.
  • Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of training facilities and learning resources.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field.
  • TVET Trainer Qualification (TVETA Trainer Certificate) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum three (3) years' teaching or industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ICT skills.
