Description
Requirements for Appointment:
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines: - Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Construction Plant Engineering, Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Building Construction, Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; OR
- Technician Il and Ill (KNEC) Certificate in the relevant field;
- Registration by the Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board (KETRB) as a Candidate Engineering Technician; OR
- Registration by any other relevant professional body.
- Preparing schemes of work;
- Instructing trainees in the area of specialization;
- Preparing course materials in area of specialization;
- Conducting practical work for trainees in area of specialization;
- Manning a training workshop or laboratory; and
- Preparing machines, tools, equipment, training aids for use in the instructional field.
