Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and update accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Process payments, receipts, invoices, and ensure proper authorization and documentation.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation of patient bills and insurance claims.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.
- Support budget preparation, monitoring, control, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, hospital policies, and statutory requirements
- Support internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Maintain strong internal controls and safeguard hospital financial and physical assets.
- Liaise with procurement, billing, and clinical departments to ensure accurate costing and revenue capture.
- Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive patient and financial information.
- Any other duty as may be assigned.
