Qualifications and experience
- BSc. Degree in Medical Physiology and a BPharm Degree or MBChB Degree from a local or foreign university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya.
- MSc. Degree in Medical Physiology
- A PhD in Medical Physiology will be an added advantage
- Two (2) years of working experience
- Teaching experience will be an added advantage
- If a BPharm degree holder, the applicant should be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya and have a valid pharmacist practice license.
- If an MBChB degree holder, the applicant should have registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council and a valid practicing license.
- Membership of relevant Professional Association
Skills required for the job:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent use of Microsoft Office tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Other Special Requirements:
- Committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Presentation of one (1) paper in a scientific conference
- One (1) publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
