Lecturer - Medical Physiology

Qualifications and experience

1. BSc. Degree in Medical Physiology and a BPharm Degree or MBChB Degree from a local or foreign university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya.
   
2. MSc. Degree in Medical Physiology
   
3. A PhD in Medical Physiology will be an added advantage
   
4. Two (2) years of working experience
   
5. Teaching experience will be an added advantage
   
6. If a BPharm degree holder, the applicant should be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya and have a valid pharmacist practice license.
   
7. If an MBChB degree holder, the applicant should have registration with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council and a valid practicing license.
   
8. Membership of relevant Professional Association
   

Skills required for the job:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
   
2. Competent use of Microsoft Office tools, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
   

Other Special Requirements:

1. Committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
   
2. Presentation of one (1) paper in a scientific conference
   
3. One (1) publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
