Personal Attributes

  • Demonstrated experience supporting or working with Kenya's national HIV and STI programs and Ministry of Health structures.
  • Strong understanding of health system strengthening for HIV, and STI care and prevention interventions
  • Experience with DHIS2, Taifa care (Tiberbu HMIS and KenyaEMR), KHIS, other electronic health information systems, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Prior work experience working with government under donor funded programs will be an advantage.

Academic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Health Informatics, Public Health, or a related field. A clinical background is an added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Mapping of the STI stakeholders at national level and subnational level
  • Review of the current STI data collection and reporting tools.
  • Identify the gaps in the current STI data collection and reporting tools
  • Spearhead development of the new STI data collection and reporting tools
  • Review of the national STI M&E framework
  • Identify gaps in the national STI M&E framework
  • Collaborate closely with the Ministry of Health and relevant stakeholders to co-design and institutionalize a robust national STI M&E framework, indicators, and data visualization
