KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERCENTAGE (%) TIME SPENT
- Lead physical security & crisis management – 25%
- Oversee security control room operations – 20%
- Manage outsourced security services & vendors – 20%
- Drive security intelligence & reporting – 15%
- Strengthen governance, training & stakeholder engagement – 10%
- Manage security budget & financial performance – 10%
MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Develop and implement a proactive physical security risk management framework.
- Lead emergency response coordination for incidents, crises, and high-risk events.
- Oversee guarding operations including deployment, training, and performance management of over 300 guards.
- Manage integrated security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) ensuring reliability and compliance.
- Provide leadership of the 24/7 security control room and ensure incident resolution within SLAs.
- Establish and maintain escalation protocols and coordination with law enforcement and emergency services.
- Manage outsourced security vendors ensuring contract compliance, SLA adherence, and cost effectiveness.
- Participate in vendor selection, negotiations, and performance reviews.
- Lead investigations into fraud, theft, asset loss, and policy breaches.
- Develop and maintain security reports, dashboards, and risk indicators (KRIs, RCSA).
- Deliver security awareness training and act as SME on security matters.
- Drive continuous improvement through incident reviews and security audits.
- Develop and manage security budgets (CAPEX & OPEX) and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Job Specifications
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business, or related field
- Master’s degree in Security Management (Added advantage)
- Relevant certifications (CPP, PSP, ISO 27001) are an advantage
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in security, with at least 2 years in leadership
- Experience in corporate security or financial institutions
- Background in disciplined forces is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminology, Business, or related field
