Description
The Medical Specialists (Hand Surgery) are responsible to the Head of Department inthe provision of specialized diagnostic, curative, rehabilitative and preventive healthcare services to the population under their care; they are entrusted to provide qualityhealth care services.
Qualifications and Experience
a) Masters of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent qualification from an
institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
b) Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB.) degree or its equivalent qualification from
an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
c) Certification/ Fellowship in Hand Surgery from a recognized institution OR any
demonstrated interest to train in Hand Surgery are encouraged to apply:
d) Registration Certificate by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council;
e) Valid practicing license in Orthopaedic Surgery from Kenya Medical Practitioners and
Dentists Council;
