Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies and annual work plans aligned with the hospital’s mission and objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee community outreach programs, medical camps, screening activities, and awareness campaigns.
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to organize and deliver outreach services effectively.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, healthcare facilities, local leaders, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate outreach logistics, including scheduling, transportation, equipment, supplies, and staffing requirements.
  • Monitor outreach activities and evaluate performance against established targets and objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report outreach data, outcomes, and impact indicators.
  • Promote community awareness of hospital services and facilitate referrals to the hospital.
  • Develop and manage outreach budgets and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
  • Supervise outreach staff and volunteers, providing leadership, guidance, and performance management.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations related to outreach programs and stakeholder engagement.
  • Identify opportunities for program growth, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Community Health, Health Promotion, Social Sciences, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Preferred).
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in community outreach, healthcare program management, public health, or related fields.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience coordinating community health programs, medical camps, or healthcare outreach initiatives.
  • Experience working with donors, partners, government agencies, and community organizations is an added advantage (Preferred).
