Pharmaceutical Technologist

Job Purpose

• Reporting to the Pharmacy In-Charge, the incumbent is responsible for reviewing prescriptions and accurate dispensing of medication in order to achieve effective treatment for the patient.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Prescription Validation & Dispensing: Validate, verify, and accurately dispense medications to patients.
  
• Inventory Management: Oversee and manage pharmacy inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and proper storage.
  
• Quality Reporting: Prepare quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with internal standards and external regulations guiding the pharmacy profession.
  

Qualifications, Experience & Core Competencies

• Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  
• At least 2 years of appropriate experience in pharmaceutical operations.
  
• ICT competency.
  
• Excellent customer service skills.
  
• Self-motivated and a strong team player.
  
• Pleasant personality
