Description

This role supports the development and review of strategic plans, work plans, and departmental performance contracts. It involves preparing periodic reports, updating the master plan, and assisting in project identification and prioritization. The position contributes to institutional planning, policy alignment, and performance monitoring.

(a) Job specification

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail assisting in:-

(i) Developing and review of the Strategic Plan;

(ii) Assist in developing of the annual Work plan;

(iii) Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual sectional reports;

(iv) Developing of the departments’ performance contracts;

(v) Updating the Master Plan; and

(vi) Identification, planning and prioritisation of projects and programmes.

(b) Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

(i) Bachelors degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, Public policy, Business Administration, Economics and Finance or Economics and Statistics from a recognized institution;

(ii) Proficiency in computer applications; and

(iii) Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
