Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years’ production experience in spices, powder blends, seasonings, or food manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of blending technologies, milling systems, sieving, and powder handling.
- Knowledge of allergen management, flavour integrity, and quality control processes.
- Strong leadership and ability to run multiple lines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production of spices, blends, herbs, seasonings, and masalas.
- Manage teams across weighing, blending, grinding, sieving, packing, and line changeovers.
- Execute production plans and ensure consistent adherence to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, allergen control, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, FSSC, GMP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D on new blends, NPD trials, and flavour consistency improvements.
- Maintain batch integrity, traceability, and accurate documentation.
- Reduce losses, improve yields, and strengthen line efficiency and OEE metrics.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance with engineering teams to minimise breakdowns.
- Oversee packing machines, labellers, coding systems, and quality checkpoints.
- Develop, coach, and supervise production staff for improved skills and performance
