Description
The Quality Assurance Team Leader at Kenafric Industries Limited will oversee the QA team in ensuring product quality, safety, and compliance with internal and external standards. The role involves the implementation of quality management systems, adherence to ISO and HACCP guidelines, and leading continuous improvement efforts in quality processes
Qualifications
- A degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications and training in ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, 45001, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP.
- Proven experience in a QA leadership role, preferably within the food or related industry.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant quality management software.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Lead the QA team in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols and procedures in line with ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, and 45001 standards.
- Conduct risk analysis using HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP methodologies to identify and mitigate potential quality threats.
- Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products by overseeing rigorous inspection and testing routines.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and training of staff on quality systems and compliance. Manage and resolve quality-related customer complaints and non-conformances, ensuring rigorous root cause analysis and corrective actions. Compile and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting areas of success and those requiring improvement. Train, mentor, and evaluate QA team members to ensure a highly skilled and knowledgeable workforce
