- Receive cash from the accountant and be fully responsible for such cash.
- Receive cash from customers and pay customers against proper documentation.
- Collects payments by accepting cash, cheque, and charge payments from customers.
- Provides pricing information by answering customer questions.
- Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prepare the daily cash report reconciling remaining cash with the transactions of the day to establish any shortages or excess.
- Management of mobile money transactions e.g. paybill and M-pesa float management.
- Collating of cheques for banking.
- Petty cash float management.
- Any other work as given by the Supervisor.
