on behalf of our client, a leading Manufacturer of Wood Products, we are seeking a results-driven Sales & Marketing manager. The successful Candidate will be responsible for devising and executing a strategy to achieve an ambitious sales target . This role leads a cross-functional team to ensure revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 7 years in sales management with a proven track record of success.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.

  • Proficient in CRM software, sales analytics, and reporting tools.

  • Experience in digital marketing and enhancing online sales.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen.

  • Data-driven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.


Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Devise and execute a sales strategy to achieve targets.

  • Maintain a sales pricelist that ensures a 40% profit margin across all product lines.

  • Identify and focus on the most profitable items to maximize revenue.

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to align strategies with the company's long-term vision.

2. Team Management & Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor Sales Executives, Interior Designers, and Project Managers.

  • Set clear KPIs and sales targets, providing regular performance evaluations.

  • Develop a comprehensive sales training schedule for 2025 to address identified skill gaps.

  • Review and recommend changes to incentive programs to drive higher performance.

3. Sales Operations & Pipeline Management

  • Track weekly and monthly sales targets vs. actual performance, making real-time adjustments.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking the daily value of opportunities vs. closing rates.

  • Optimize the sales process from lead generation to closing for better conversion rates.

  • Monitor daily income received using monthly accumulation charts.

4. Market Research & Marketing

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.

  • Pursue new market prospects, partnerships, and innovations for business expansion.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to enhance digital marketing and online presence.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Production, Logistics, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure an excellent customer experience.

  • Prepare and analyze costing vs. project reports to ensure alignment with budgets and goals.
