The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and grounded Sales Representativeto own and grow our presence in the local Kenyan market. This role is for atrue go-getter who is not just looking for a job, but a mission. Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Market Growth & Customer Partnerships
- Leverage your first-hand knowledge and network within the assigned counties to identify and seize new business opportunities.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting to acquiring key B2B customer partners for both our high-growth and established business units.
- Demonstrate a self-starting attitude by actively executing acquisition plans to meet and exceed set targets.
Relationship Management & Brand Storytelling
- Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships by consistently acting with integrity and putting the customer first.
- Bring our brands to life by authentically communicating the story and value of our products and services.
- Show initiative in keeping customers engaged through a mix of virtual and in-person interactions.
Strategic Account Management & Fulfilment
- Manage and grow primary wholesalers, importers, and agents, taking responsibility for their performance.
- Maintain a clear focus on results by monitoring key accounts and proactively driving optimization and growth in their range, variety, and order frequency.
- Ensure seamless order processing and develop collaborative fulfilment plans, keeping all parties informed.
Market Intelligence & Insight Generation
- Cultivate a curious mindset to actively understand our consumers, customers, competitors, and the local culture.
- Go beyond surface-level data; learn from customer behaviours to provide the company with actionable intelligence that drives market leadership.
- Deeply understand the customer's business, their challenges, and their growth opportunities.
Commercial Execution & Brand Positioning
- Use customer and consumer insights to actively innovate and tailor our offerings.
- Take a proactive and driven approach to commercialize new products and drive them in the market.
- Execute sales and distribution plans with determination, ensuring the depth and spread of our product universe across the region.
Key Deliverables
- Achieve consistent, year-round business activity and market presence.
- Drive focused growth: Achieve a minimum of 20% YoY growth for Expansion units and 10% YoY for Turnaround units over the next 3 years.
- Establish and cultivate a strong ecosystem of key customers.
- Execute a growth strategy for 40 Key Accounts, targeting a minimum of 35% YoY growth.
- Enhance brand loyalty by localizing value propositions and demonstrating an authentic understanding of each market.
