Qualifications and Experience
- A master’s degree in Pharmacology, a BPharm Degree, from a local or foreign university recognized by the Commission for University Education, Kenya.
- A PhD in Pharmacology will be an added advantage
- Ten (10) years of work experience
- Five (5) years of teaching experience
- For the BPharm degree holder, the applicant should be registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya and have a valid pharmacist practice license.
- Membership of a relevant Professional Association
- Teaching and research experience appropriate to the rank
- At least 5–10 publications.
- Supervision of three (3) master’s students.

- Evidence of presentation at conferences
- Consistent demonstration of ethical professional practice
