Location: CIATA Mall, Kiambu Road, Nairobi, Kenya


Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday – Friday)


Salary: KES 45,000 – 60,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience)

MMT Alliance is an Australian-owned international procurement, infrastructure and project delivery company with headquarters in Australia and regional operations across Kenya, the UAE and East Africa. We specialise in delivering procurement, supply chain, infrastructure and consulting projects for UN agencies, NGOs, Governments and international development organisations.

We are seeking an experienced Tender & Bid Specialist to manage the complete end-to-end tender process. This role requires a proactive individual who can independently identify opportunities, prepare compliant submissions, develop competitive pricing and manage the entire bidding process through to contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source tender opportunities from UN, NGO, Government and donor procurement portals.

  • Monitor procurement platforms including UNGM, UNDP, UNICEF, UNOPS, WFP, World Bank, AfDB, Devex and government e-procurement portals.

  • Review tender documents and assess bid opportunities.

  • Prepare complete tender submissions, including technical and administrative documentation.

  • Coordinate supporting documents with internal teams and partners.

  • Source supplier quotations and conduct pricing and commercial analysis.

  • Prepare costings, financial schedules and pricing models.

  • Submit bids through online procurement portals within required deadlines.

  • Monitor bid progress, respond to clarifications and follow up with procurement agencies.

  • Maintain the tender pipeline, bid register and submission records.

  • Conduct post-submission evaluations and lessons learned to improve future success rates.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience preparing tenders for UN, NGO, Government or donor-funded projects.

  • Strong understanding of procurement and tendering processes.

  • Experience using procurement portals and eTender systems.

  • Excellent commercial, analytical and pricing skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
