• Basic Salary Scale: Kshs. 42,500 - Ksh 80,000 p.m.
  
• House allowance: Kshs. 10,000
  
• Commuter allowance: Kshs. 12,000
  
• Leave allowance: Kshs. 4,000 (Annually)
  
• Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
  
• Reporting to: Senior Trainer MTOT
  

Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities entail

• Assisting in Designing, developing and delivering training and capacity building programmes in maritime transport and logistics and related areas;
  
• Assisting in Development of instructional materials for training;
  
• Assisting in implementation of training programmes according to the set syllabus;
  
• Supporting in Setting, administering and marking of examinations;
  
• Supporting trainees’ practical sessions in trade projects and business plan development;
  
• Assisting in the development of institutional training policies;
  
• Assisting in developing and reviewing curriculum and syllabus;
  
• Assisting in Workshop records keeping.
  

Required Qualification

For appointment to this grade, a staff must have: -

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following: Maritime Transport and Logistics, International Freight Management, Maritime Law and Policy, Shipping Management and Logistics, Port Management, Clearing and Forwarding, Maritime/Business Management from a recognized university;
  
• Relevant working experience would be an added advantage.
  
• Proficiency in Computer Applications.
