Job Title: Travel Sales & Booking Agent

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

About the Role

We are seeking dynamic and results-oriented Travel Sales & Booking Agents with proven experience in travel booking, sales, and client relationship management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing travel packages, managing client bookings, and driving sales both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive local sales including individual or group safaris, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events.
  

• Manage outbound travel sales to destinations such as Thailand, Spain, Seychelles, South Africa, Dubai, and others.
  

• Create and promote customized tour packages tailored to client needs.
  

• Leverage social media platforms to market travel services and engage potential clients.
  

• Conduct direct marketing activities including cold calls and client visits.
  

• Manage the tendering process for travel service opportunities.
  

• Negotiate and secure competitive hotel rates to maximize value for clients.
  

• Maintain strong industry knowledge and ensure excellent client service delivery.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management or a related field.
  

• Proven experience in travel booking and sales (local and international).
  

• Strong knowledge of travel destinations and ability to package travel experiences.
  

• Proficiency in using social media for marketing and client engagement.
  

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  

• Experience in handling tenders and building partnerships with hotels/service providers.
  

• Self-driven, proactive, and able to meet sales targets.
  

Added Advantage

• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
  

• Familiarity with hospitality software and booking systems.
