Description
University Degree from recognized institution in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
Familiar with all corresponding repair, warranties, stores, inventory, technical, production and quality interfaces.
Aviation Industry experience in supply chain is preferable Additional Qualifications.
Proficient in examining large and complex datasets to detect trends and derive meaningful insights.
Ability to understand complex contracts and summarize key terms.
Strong working knowledge of aircraft maintenance is an added advantage.
Successful completion of the Graduate Engineering Program will be an added advantage.
5 years working knowledge and experience preferably from aircraft maintenance or in a technical field.
Maintenance Claims
Compile from aircraft/engine components maintenance records, tasks qualifying for maintenance reserve compensation and initiate claims from respective Lessors.
Warranty Claims
Compile from aircraft/engines/components maintenance records restoration, modification and inspection qualifying for warranty compensation and initiate claims to respective vendors for cost optimized.
Contracted terms claims
Monitor deviations from contracted terms and initiate recovery measures for optimized product quality and cost.
Guarantee claims
Track aircraft, engine, and component performance and MTBF/MTBRs and where below guarantee, initiates action to obtain compensation.
Insurance claims
Collect data and initiate insurance claims through Kenya Airways insurance section for aircraft, engine and components damage incidents and losses.
Records
Extract, compile and circulate entitlements and obligations of the company under each executed agreement for system awareness and distribution of monthly status reports on claims for system use.
